Oxford Reflections — Where Stillness Found Me
Oxford will always hold a quiet part of my heart. It wasn’t just the history or the architecture that drew me in — it was the calm. The kind that doesn’t announce itself, but simply exists, like a whisper between the trees or the ripples on the river.
Every day, I’d find myself drawn to a park or a stream — sometimes near the meadows, sometimes tucked away behind old walls. I didn’t go there to do anything special. I went to be. To sit, breathe, cry, laugh — to catch my breath and find myself again in the rhythm of the world.
Oxford taught me the beauty of pausing. It showed me that even in the busiest seasons, the heart needs stillness — not to escape, but to return. To return to gratitude, to peace, to the quiet knowing that life unfolds perfectly when we stop trying to rush it.
Those moments, simple and sacred, became the foundation of how I live and create today. They remind me that stillness is not idleness — it’s presence. And in presence, we find peace.
